The Social Committee sponsors a wide variety of special events, including Happy Hours, Pot Luck Dinners, Speaker’s Corner Presentations, Trivia Contests, Wine Tastings, Bingo and Dining Out. Events will be advertised by posters and email, and will be posted here as they are scheduled.

Tennis
Tennis players meet every day (weather permitting). Play is in a round-robin format that can accommodate whatever number of people participate on a given day.
Seasoned cyclists interested in group rides are invited to join this group. Rides are along scenic routes either south of the city or north to Gatineau Park, and typically cover 60 – 80 km over a 4-hour period. There are stops for coffee and treats along the way. Regular and e-bikes welcome.
Watch and listen to videos of songs and artists chosen by the attendees. Selecting a musical video is optional. The only requirement is an enjoyment of music.
This is a gathering of people who just like to sing. Singing is now supported by an app that provides background music for an extensive library and shows lyrics on screen.
Every second Wednesday afternoon 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
A ½ hour lesson to cover selected topics with handouts, practice hands and discussion, followed by 1 1/2 hours of bridge for beginning and experienced players.

Please support the Committee's activities by leaving your wine and liquor bottles and beer cans in the Canoe bay. We return them and use the refunded deposits to help pay for activities.
